The end of July saw the annual running of the Captain’s Cup at Majestic Creek. A full field and good weather ensured a really close competition to decide the winner with the Ladies ruling the day with a countback deciding the outcome with both Michelle Swaby and Sandra Henning returning 45 points resulting in Sandra’s name being recorded on the HHGS Honours Board. An awards dinner at Coco 51, one of HHGS’s primary sponsors in the evening was attended by the players and their partners who enjoyed, as always, great food in a great location beach-side.
